AXANE is the specialized department from AIR LIQUIDE, in charge of fuel cell R&D. They appointed PHI DESIGN to realize the design of a fuel cell stack for a car manufacturer.

This state-of-the-art technology mastered by AXANE needed an appropriate design to enter the very rigorous and demanding automotive sector, with extremely strong constraints of mechanical strength, sealing and assembling.

With this in mind, PHI DESIGN created a successful and compelling design.
We did a global design research, with the mechanical conception of the case and also build a prototype.
